1. About Roborear

Roborear is a robotics education platform providing:

• Robotics tutorials and project guides
• ESP32 and microcontroller programming articles
• YouTube video content shown and embedded on our Site
• Free online courses
• Comments on articles
• A contact form
• User accounts
• An optional way to support Roborear financially by buying the Roborear Supporter Pack (see section 5)

2. Use of Our Site

Eligibility

By using our Site, you represent that:

• You are at least 13 years of age (making a payment has separate requirements; see section 5)
• You will comply with all applicable laws
• You will use the Site for personal, non-commercial educational purposes

Permitted use

You may:

• Read and follow our tutorials for personal learning
• Share links to our content with proper attribution
• Create an account and contact us through the Site
• Enrol in our free courses and comment on articles

Prohibited use

You may NOT:

• Copy, reproduce or redistribute our content without permission
• Sell or monetize our tutorials without written consent
• Use our content for commercial training purposes
• Scrape, crawl or otherwise extract data from our Site
• Send spam or malicious links through the contact form, comments or any other feature
• Post comments that are unlawful, abusive, misleading or that infringe other people's rights
• Share Supporter Pack links or files publicly, or resell or redistribute them
• Attempt to hack, bypass security or disrupt our Site, or to access accounts or administration tools without authorisation

3. User Accounts

You can create an account on the Site. If you do:

• You must provide accurate information.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity that happens under your account.
• Please tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
• Some accounts are given additional permissions by Roborear, for example to publish or manage content. Using such permissions is limited to the purpose for which they were granted.

You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see the Contact section below).

4. Intellectual Property

Our content

All content on this Site, including but not limited to:

• Text, tutorials and project guides
• Images, graphics and diagrams
• Code examples and schematics
• Logo and branding

…is the property of Roborear and protected by copyright laws.

Your content

When you send us content, such as a message through the contact form or a comment on an article:

• You retain ownership of your content.
• You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to use it to respond to you and to operate the Site.
• You warrant that your content does not violate any third-party rights.

Comments are reviewed before they appear. We may decline, hide or remove any comment. Approved comments are shown publicly with your name.

5. Supporting Roborear and the Supporter Pack

Voluntary support

Supporting Roborear is optional: our articles, tutorials and free courses remain available without paying. A support payment is a one-time purchase of the Roborear Supporter Pack, a set of digital downloads, at a price you choose within the limits shown on the Support page, made to support Roborear's work. It is not a subscription, and it does not change your access to the rest of the Site or give you any say over what we publish.

Who can pay

To make a support payment, you must be legally capable of making the purchase and must have reached the age of legal majority that applies to you, unless a parent or guardian lawfully makes or authorizes the payment where that is permitted. This is separate from the minimum age for using the Site and creating an account (section 2).

What you receive

Your purchase is the Roborear Supporter Pack, a set of digital downloads:

• Roborear Robotics Learning Map
• Roborear Robotics Quick Reference
• Roborear Roadmap
• Desktop Wallpapers
• Mobile Wallpaper

Payment processing

Payments are processed by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, on its own checkout page. Your payment is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's terms, and Lemon Squeezy handles your payment details as described in its privacy policy. We never receive or store your payment card details. See our Privacy Policy for the information we do keep.

Delivery and access

After Lemon Squeezy confirms your payment, we email a private link to the email address on your order. The link lets you open and download the Supporter Pack. If you were signed in to your Roborear account when you started the payment, the Supporter Pack is also available from your account.

• Keep the link private: anyone who has it can open your Supporter Pack.
• If you do not receive the email, check your spam folder, then contact us with the email address you used.
• If a payment is fully refunded, access to that order's Supporter Pack ends: its emailed link and its download from your account stop working.

Use of the Supporter Pack

The Supporter Pack is for your personal, non-commercial use. Its contents remain the property of Roborear (see section 4); you may not resell, redistribute or publicly share its files or its link.

Payment questions, refunds and disputes

Supporter Pack payments are normally non-refundable, except in cases of duplicate or unauthorized payments and where a refund is required by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the consumer laws that apply to you.

If you believe a payment was duplicated or made without your authorization, or you have another problem with a payment or with your Supporter Pack, contact us at shahrear@roborear.com with the email address and order number from your receipt, and we will try to resolve it. Payments, refunds and payment disputes are processed through our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy. If a payment is fully refunded, the payment record is kept and marked as refunded.

6. Embedded YouTube Content

Our Site shows videos from the Roborear YouTube channel and contains embedded YouTube videos. By watching these videos, you also agree to YouTube's Terms of Service. We do not control YouTube's content or data collection practices.

7. Accuracy of Information

We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information in our robotics tutorials. However:

• We do not guarantee that all information is error-free.
• Components and specifications may change over time.
• You are responsible for verifying component compatibility.
• Circuits and code examples are provided “as-is”.

Robotics and electronics projects involve electricity, batteries, motors and tools. Take appropriate care, and always double-check wiring diagrams and code before implementing projects.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the past 12 months.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Your use of our Site is at your sole risk. The Site is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We do not warrant that:

• The Site will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Any errors will be corrected
• The Site is free of viruses or harmful components

10. Third-Party Links and Affiliate Disclosure

External links

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites (Amazon, AliExpress, etc.). We are not responsible for:

• The content of those websites
• Their privacy practices
• Any products you purchase from them

Affiliate disclosure

Some links on our Site are affiliate links. This means:

• We may earn a small commission if you purchase through these links
• This comes at no extra cost to you
• We only recommend products we genuinely believe in

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or your access to our Site immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Site (including your account) ceases immediately.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises:

• Informal resolution: Contact us first to resolve the issue informally.
• Mediation: If unresolved, both parties agree to mediation before legal action.
• Jurisdiction: Any legal action shall be brought in courts located in Bangladesh.
